Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cosimo Del Duca started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Dennis Bondi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th match minute, Adegliacco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Franco to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Benarrivo having to interfere. Edmondo Benarrivo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Franco in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Pieve Ligure booed when Adegliacco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attilio Leopardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pieve Ligure's Edmondo Benarrivo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bianco Di Donato in the 25th minute of play. Adegliacco FC's Donato Lizzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Adegliacco FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Antonio Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adegliacco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Franco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmondo Benarrivo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Alberto Di Gregorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrea Savoia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Lizzi having to interfere. If Cosimo Del Duca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pieve Ligure's Cosimo Del Duca managed to work through Adegliacco FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cosimo Del Duca dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Donato Lizzi made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Andrea Savoia sent off a good shot on target. Donato Puja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Franco to make the kick off. Dennis Bondi might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmondo Benarrivo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dennis Bondi ran back to his position shaking his head. Cosimo Del Duca struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Donato Lizzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pieve Ligure. The audience was convinced that Andrea Savoia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donato Lizzi was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Cosimo Del Duca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Lizzi having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Pieve Ligure's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Franco came free, but Edmondo Benarrivo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosimo Del Duca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Donato Lizzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Adegliacco FC's zone, Andrea Savoia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Lizzi came out of the goal and Andrea Savoia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrea Savoia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Lizzi having to interfere. If Cosimo Del Duca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Andrea Savoia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Donato Lizzi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pieve Ligure fans cheered their team off the field, for while Adegliacco FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
