After taking down the ball on Tavernola San Felice's corner Ferdinando Bellucci fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Domenico Presutti quite easily take care of the ball. During the 55th minute of the match Francesco Carozza completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Francesco Carozza a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 56th match minute, Tavernola San Felice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francesco Carozza to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Prolissone FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. After a rather tough play, Prolissone FC's Ermanno Sammartano got a free kick in the 78th minute. Adriano Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dave Muciaccia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermanno Cirigliano got free with Emiliano Strazzabosco in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ermanno Cirigliano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriano Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Tavernola San Felice's Adriano Mazza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domenico Presutti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Prolissone FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
