Federico Bellisario's late challenge caught a Argate Brianza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Bellisario helped the player get up and apologised. Cosimo Di Toma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Giampieri, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Flavio Rava received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Fedele Orsi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Argate Brianza's goalkeeper Fedele Orsi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Comunardo Sorge. Argate Brianza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Firmani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Francesco Consalvi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. San Salvatore FC's Cosimo Di Toma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save San Salvatore FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in San Salvatore FC's zone, Fabio Giampieri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosimo Di Toma came out of the goal and Fabio Giampieri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Argate Brianza's Fabio Giampieri got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. San Salvatore FC's Cosimo Di Toma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save San Salvatore FC from getting a goal against them. Fabio Firmani's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Cosimo Di Toma skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Comunardo Sorge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fedele Orsi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Fedele Orsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Rava, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Rava in the 91st minute of play forced Argate Brianza's goalkeeper Fedele Orsi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
