Felice Santarelli started the match with the kick off. The supporters of A.C.Cavalese booed when RealFinalPia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Gentili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Gentili kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Anselmo Caruso struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Francesco Cammarota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C.Cavalese. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Caruso in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Cammarota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felice Santarelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Massimini having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Caruso in the 19th minute of play forced RealFinalPia's goalkeeper Francesco Cammarota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Frank Basile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davide Frasca hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Caruso in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francesco Cammarota saved RealFinalPia from getting behind. A collision led to RealFinalPia getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Davide Frasca hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, RealFinalPia's Alberto De Francesco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emiliano Massimini. Emiliano Massimini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Francesco Cammarota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Basile in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Basile in the 33rd minute of play forced RealFinalPia's goalkeeper Francesco Cammarota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Cera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Francesco Cammarota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anselmo Caruso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Frank Basile came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the A.C.Cavalese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Basile couldn't finish the play. Francesco Cammarota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Caruso, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Eugenio Gentili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Emiliano Massimini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Frank Basile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

52 minutes into the game, Flavio Pasqualone threw the ball into play from the sideline. A.C.Cavalese's Frank Basile quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind RealFinalPia's goalkeeper Francesco Cammarota, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in RealFinalPia's zone, Frank Basile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francesco Cammarota came out of the goal and Frank Basile tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, RealFinalPia's goalkeeper Francesco Cammarota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Caruso. The crowd rose to their feet as A.C.Cavalese's Claudio Cera slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Francesco Cammarota. That made the score 1-1 after 57 minutes of play. In the 61st minute, Anselmo Caruso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Caruso in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Francesco Cammarota, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With splendid footwork Anselmo Caruso arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-2 by the left pole in the game's 68th minute. Emiliano Massimini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Gentili, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Eugenio Gentili had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Massimini. A.C.Cavalese's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugenio Gentili was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. If Anselmo Caruso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Campo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Francesco Cammarota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Basile in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Alberto De Francesco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RealFinalPia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C.Cavalese the free kick. Alberto De Francesco kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Francesco Cammarota stood somewhat misplaced when Anselmo Caruso came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 96 minute. A.C.Cavalese's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
