Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diego Silvestre started the match with the kick off. Alessandro Riva struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Franco Garofalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SALIMB FC. After a rather tough play, SALIMB FC's Ferdinando Ciapponi got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Andrea Cammarota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ercole Marzulli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elia Fanfarone in the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Silvestre in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Garofalo saved San Donino from getting behind. In the 28th match minute, San Donino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edoardo Domenghini to maneuver through the defense. Alex Perna hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. SALIMB FC's Ercole Marzulli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Ubriaco in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Donino's goalkeeper Franco Garofalo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Alessandro Riva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franco Garofalo. San Donino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alessandro Riva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Alessandro Riva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Franco Garofalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franco Garofalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Silvestre in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrea Cammarota was the one to do the kick off. Elia Fanfarone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ercole Marzulli made a huge save. Alessandro Riva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 65 minutes, Alessandro Riva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SALIMB FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Riva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Riva in the 83rd minute of play forced San Donino's goalkeeper Franco Garofalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, San Donino's Frank Lozzi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.
