Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alessio Piola started the match with the kick off. Ercole Marzulli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fausto Santone went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Diego Silvestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Flavio Diana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Riva in the 16th minute of play forced Corticella's goalkeeper Flavio Diana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Corticella's zone, Alessandro Riva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Diana came out of the goal and Alessandro Riva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Corticella getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Amerigo Scibilia hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, SALIMB FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Piola came free, but Ercole Marzulli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessio Piola took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ercole Marzulli. Ercole Marzulli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Alberto Chitarroni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Corticella booed when SALIMB FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achille Chiavetta didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alberto Chitarroni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Diego Silvestre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SALIMB FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Silvestre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ercole Marzulli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Cucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Silvestre made a kick off. Alessandro Riva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alessandro Riva was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. SALIMB FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 67 minutes into the match, SALIMB FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Santone came free, but Ercole Marzulli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anthony Alleva kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Diego Silvestre sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Corticella's Flavio Diana didn't even have to move. Diego Silvestre might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Diana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Silvestre ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd match minute, SALIMB FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Ciapponi to maneuver through the defense. Ferdinando Ciapponi lost his temper 87 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 87th minute, one of SALIMB FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SALIMB FC. A collision led to SALIMB FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Alessandro Simonetti hit a great ball. Ernesto Miranda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ercole Marzulli. SALIMB FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Corticella's Alessio Piola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ercole Marzulli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 98th minute Diego Silvestre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Diana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corticella were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SALIMB FC for a fine match.
