Alessandro Papa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Franco Garofalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alessandro Papa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Franco Garofalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Papa in the 16th minute of play. Elia Fanfarone struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Corrado Di Fiore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Donino. If Arrigo De Donatis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 minutes of play, Marano 1914 Spa's Arrigo De Donatis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franco Garofalo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 1-1 became the score in the 33rd minute when Andrea Cammarota elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Corrado Di Fiore was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andrea Cammarota showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 37 minute of play. Andrea Cammarota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Alessandro Papa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Franco Garofalo, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of San Donino booed when Marano 1914 Spa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arrigo Alfani didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Marano 1914 Spa getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Emanuele Fioriti hit a great ball. When Andrea Cammarota fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Donino's protests and gave Andrea Cammarota a yellow card for diving instead. San Donino's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
