Villagio Olandese Mira Maurizio's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Bianchi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermanno Giacchetti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enzo Granati scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermanno Giacchetti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Roberto in the 12th minute of play forced Villagio Olandese Mira Maurizio's goalkeeper Ernesto Fava to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Christian Bianchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermanno Giacchetti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Villagio Olandese Mira Maurizio fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Villagio Olandese Mira Maurizio's Christian Bianchi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ermanno Giacchetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Granati in the 30th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Achille Baruffa during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes Atletico Romeiro got a freekick which was hit by Achille Baruffa. 40 minutes into the match, Atletico Romeiro's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Granati came free, but Ermanno Giacchetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Enzo Granati ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermanno Giacchetti was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Bianchi was the one to do the kick off. Christian Bianchi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ermanno Giacchetti came out and tried to block the shot, but Christian Bianchi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 54th minute. Ermanno Giacchetti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Bianchi's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Atletico Romeiro's Achille Baruffa got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ernesto Fava took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Roberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felice Roberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Fava having to interfere. Atletico Romeiro's Achille Baruffa got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Achille Baruffa off the ground. Achille Baruffa hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Edmondo Marongiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Christian Bianchi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ermanno Giacchetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Granati recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Villagio Olandese Mira Maurizio's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
