Antonello Salomone who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Ermanno Giacchetti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Florian Bulla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Marongiu in the 8th minute of play. Atletico Romeiro's Ermanno Giacchetti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Romeiro from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes in the game, Ernesto Frezza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ermanno Giacchetti having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Cella's Ermanno Giacchetti threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ernesto Frezza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 17 minutes into the match, Atletico Romeiro's Felice Roberto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florian Bulla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Atletico Romeiro's goalkeeper Ermanno Giacchetti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonello Salomone. Ferruccio Tofani charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferruccio Tofani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ferruccio Tofani kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Cella's Florian Bulla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felice Roberto in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Cella getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Davide Alessandro hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Felice Roberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Romeiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felice Roberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Atletico Romeiro getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Donato Tieri hit a great ball. If Antonello Salomone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ernesto Frezza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ermanno Giacchetti. That made the score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Frezza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ermanno Giacchetti was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Atletico Romeiro's Donato Tieri got a free kick in the 36th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Cella's goal looked a bit too open when Edmondo Marongiu came free, but Florian Bulla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonello Salomone struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Ermanno Giacchetti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cella.

If Antonello Salomone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Travaglini's late challenge caught a Cella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Travaglini helped the player get up and apologised. Aurelio Travaglini hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Ernesto Frezza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56thth minute of the game Antonello Salomone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Romeiro's Ermanno Giacchetti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Cosimo Petito fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Romeiro's protests and gave Cosimo Petito a yellow card for diving instead. 58 minutes into the game, one of Atletico Romeiro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 61st minute Cella were awarded a corner. Concetto Caponera went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Achille Baruffa during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ermanno Giacchetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonello Salomone, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 76 minutes of play, Cella's Ernesto Frezza made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermanno Giacchetti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernesto Frezza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ermanno Giacchetti having to make a save. If Ernesto Frezza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonello Salomone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Giacchetti having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Corrado Marulli during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Atletico Romeiro getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Corrado Marulli hit a great ball. Antonello Salomone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cella's Davide Alessandro suffered a sore thigh after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Achille Baruffa got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 94th match minute, Atletico Romeiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achille Baruffa to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Cella were the better team. Cella's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
