Christian Bianchi started the match with the kick off. Enzo Granati could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Francesco Franco made a huge save. In the 7th minute of the match, Christian Bianchi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Francesco Franco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 11 minutes into the match, Arturo Petrella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Fava. Villagio Olandese Mira Maurizio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Petrella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 20 played minutes Piero FC got a freekick which was hit by Damiano Formaggio. Damiano Pietrangelo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Bernardo De Lorenzi hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Piero FC's Francesco Franco got control of the ball when Armando Nobile tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Nobile during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Villagio Olandese Mira Maurizio got a freekick which was hit by Armando Nobile. In the 35th minute of the match Piero FC got a corner. Villagio Olandese Mira Maurizio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arturo Petrella ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ernesto Fava made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Di Monte in the 38th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Damiano Formaggio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Fava. Villagio Olandese Mira Maurizio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damiano Formaggio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Piero FC's Francesco Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Bianchi in the 54th minute of play. With his leg Ernesto Fava managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Piero FC's Biagio Vitelli fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 58 minutes into the match, Villagio Olandese Mira Maurizio's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Petrella came free, but Ernesto Fava reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Enzo Granati ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francesco Franco was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Francesco Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Granati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Ernesto Fava managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Piero FC's Daniele Lauria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Francesco Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Bianchi in the 69th minute of play. A hard shot 80 in the game by Daniele Lauria from a close distance when the talented Ernesto Fava managed to make a qualified save. Villagio Olandese Mira Maurizio's players were relieved. Biagio Vitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Fava having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Daniele Lauria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Ernesto Fava was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniele Lauria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ernesto Fava tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Villagio Olandese Mira Maurizio's Enzo Granati got a free kick in the 90th minute. Piero FC's Francesco Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Bianchi in the 93rd minute of play. Fortunato Di Monte charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fortunato Di Monte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ciro De Vecchis shot the penalty kick right outside the post.
