One of Montebello:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pomodori:s goal. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for Pomodori. Anselmo Lucchetti stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cristoforo Cilli. 1-2. Montebello played a much better game than Pomodori and deserved their victory. The Pomodori players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
