Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aldo Porreca started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Imperia FC's zone, Alberto Padula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. A collision led to Don Lombardi FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Alberto Padula hit a great ball. Imperia FC's Armin Cavaliere got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edoardo Colelli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Davide Spione firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aldo Porreca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Davide Spione made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Colelli in the 52nd minute of play. Alberto Padula's late challenge caught a Imperia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiano De Sisti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Carciofo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Alberto Padula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Fabiano De Sisti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Don Lombardi FC's Alberto Padula ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabiano De Sisti. Fabiano De Sisti yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Don Lombardi FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
