Sorrivoli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Cerasoli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 26th minute of the match Demetrio Giandomenico sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Federico Scotti skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Ennio Armellini took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Federico Granato to make any attempt to save it. In the 44th minute Ennio Armellini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Granato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ennio Armellini to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Guerra in the 51st minute of play forced Nuova Florida FC's goalkeeper Federico Scotti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Cerasoli might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Granato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enrico Melis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Federico Scotti having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Sorrivoli's zone, Ennio Armellini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Granato came out of the goal and Ennio Armellini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrico Melis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuova Florida FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sorrivoli for a fine match.
