Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Deportivo la Carpegna's Emiliano Finocchio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferdinando Casciano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Pocobello having to make a save. Emiliano Finocchio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvaro Marinelli's late challenge caught a Deportivo la Carpegna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvaro Marinelli helped the player get up and apologised. Emiliano Finocchio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Fabio Pocobello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davide Crognale kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Aldo Melito managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAMARATE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Melito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Cardano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Dario Rinaldi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Cardano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dario Rinaldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Emiliano Cardano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo la Carpegna's Emiliano Cardano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Melito in the 28th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Deportivo la Carpegna got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Del Grosso. Aldo Melito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Emiliano Cardano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Aldo Melito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SAMARATE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The Deportivo la Carpegna players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SAMARATE FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Rinaldi to make the kick off. With a little luck, Deportivo la Carpegna's Emiliano Cardano got control of the ball when Aldo Melito tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ferdinando Casciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Fabiano Maurizi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Finocchio in the 58th minute of play forced SAMARATE FC's goalkeeper Fabio Pocobello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SAMARATE FC's Fabio Pocobello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Casciano in the 63rd minute of play. Aldo Melito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabiano Maurizi hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Deportivo la Carpegna's corner Edoardo Potenza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabio Pocobello quite easily take care of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, SAMARATE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Finocchio came free, but Fabio Pocobello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, SAMARATE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Evani to maneuver through the defense. If Dario Rinaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Finocchio in the 90th minute of play forced SAMARATE FC's goalkeeper Fabio Pocobello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SAMARATE FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SAMARATE FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
