A wasted opportunity for Fontane AFC. 20 minutes into the game, Carter Genta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cristoforo Di Pietrantonio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Statua FC's Alessandro Mastrangelo got a free kick in the 26th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Carter Genta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fontane AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carter Genta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carter Genta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Statua FC defense, Carter Genta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristoforo Di Pietrantonio. The Statua FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristoforo Di Pietrantonio should have stopped the shot. Domenico Coccolone hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Cesare Serafini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Di Pietrantonio having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Ennio Nardone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domenico Coccolone stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ennio Nardone during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Statua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Nardone to maneuver through the defense. Enzo Pocobello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Cristoforo Di Pietrantonio made a huge save. A collision led to Fontane AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Enzo Pocobello hit a great ball. Cristoforo Di Pietrantonio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carter Genta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 85 minute of play. In the 90th minute Carter Genta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Di Pietrantonio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Fontane AFC's Cristoforo Di Pietrantonio threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carter Genta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
