Eraldo Basso hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Concetto Tenaglia's late challenge caught a Hobbit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Concetto Tenaglia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Rosa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Concetto Tenaglia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Rocchetti in the 19th minute of play forced Rosa AFC's goalkeeper Antonello Miconi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenico Troiani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonello Miconi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Rocchetti in the 25th minute of the match. Hobbit's Enzo Fiorentino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Hobbit from getting a goal against them. Domenico Troiani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute Domenico Troiani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Fiorentino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Arrigo Dominici fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hobbit's protests and gave Arrigo Dominici a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rosa AFC booed when Hobbit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arrigo Dominici didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hobbit's zone, Antonio Scandella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Fiorentino came out of the goal and Antonio Scandella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Demetrio Rapone to make the kick off. Hobbit's Demetrio Rapone got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arrigo Dominici kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. If Antonio Scandella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Hobbit's zone, Antonio Scandella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Fiorentino came out of the goal and Antonio Scandella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rosa AFC's Domenico Troiani in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hobbit's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Troiani in the 68th minute of play forced Hobbit's goalkeeper Enzo Fiorentino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrico Rocchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Hobbit booed when Rosa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Pich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domenico Troiani scored 1-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enzo Fiorentino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81stth minute of the game Domenico Troiani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hobbit's Enzo Fiorentino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute Domenico Troiani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Fiorentino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domenico Troiani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 played minutes Hobbit got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Taurino. In the 91stth minute of the game Domenico Troiani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hobbit's Enzo Fiorentino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enzo Fiorentino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Troiani, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Domenico Troiani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosa AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domenico Troiani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enzo Fiorentino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Enzo Fiorentino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Scandella in the 96th minute of the match. Antonio Scandella might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enzo Fiorentino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antonio Scandella ran back to his position shaking his head. Hobbit's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
