An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Lucente in the 6th minute of play forced I cobra nerazzurri's goalkeeper Ennio Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. I cobra nerazzurri's Ennio Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Lucente in the 9th minute of play. Adriano Marsilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Davide Padula made a huge save. After having played for 16 minutes, Cristiano Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. I cobra nerazzurri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Romano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Borgolombardo AFC's Davide Padula got control of the ball when Adriano Marsilio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dave Lucente got in the 41st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ennio Basso handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Ennio Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Lucente, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Romano made a kick off. A collision led to Borgolombardo AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Concetto Cala hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute Adriano Marsilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davide Padula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anfilogino Giacomozzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Basso having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Marsilio in the 58th minute of play forced Borgolombardo AFC's goalkeeper Davide Padula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Dave Lucente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ennio Basso was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Anfilogino Giacomozzi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of I cobra nerazzurri's Ennio Basso. Anfilogino Giacomozzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Ennio Basso made a huge save. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Borgolombardo AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
