Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristiano Romano started the match with the kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Alberigo Mannucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corticella AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberigo Mannucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristiano Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Corticella AFC's Cristiano Lalli got a free kick in the 11th minute. Arturo Paris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Romano in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Attilio Franzioni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Cristiano Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Paris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Marsilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Arturo Paris made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Cristiano Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot. I cobra nerazzurri's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Romano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Paris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amerigo Bonsignore kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in I cobra nerazzurri's zone, Alberigo Mannucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ennio Basso came out of the goal and Alberigo Mannucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Alvise Macchia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ennio Basso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvise Macchia's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Adriano Marsilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Paris having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alberigo Mannucci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ennio Basso was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvise Macchia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Corticella AFC's Alvise Macchia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ennio Basso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Marsilio in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Paris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristiano Romano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Paris having to make a save. After having played for 56 minutes, Alvise Macchia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corticella AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvise Macchia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eraldo Del Duca's late challenge caught a Corticella AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eraldo Del Duca helped the player get up and apologised. Eraldo Del Duca hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Ennio Basso made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Alberigo Mannucci sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Attilio Franzioni during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of I cobra nerazzurri booed when Corticella AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attilio Franzioni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind I cobra nerazzurri's goalkeeper Ennio Basso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adriano Marsilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Arturo Paris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Attilio Franzioni was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. Ennio Basso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alvise Macchia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 79 minute of play. Cristiano Romano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Paris having to interfere. Alvise Macchia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ennio Basso came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvise Macchia slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 88th minute. If Alberigo Mannucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvaro Tarulli kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Corticella AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
