Emanuele Di Tommaso came out of the goal and Beppe Valeri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuele Di Tommaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvise Sartori in the 23rd minute of the match. Alvise Sartori's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuele Di Tommaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Camillo Nobili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 31 minutes, Camillo Nobili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal di Venezia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camillo Nobili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beppe Valeri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Emanuele Di Tommaso made a huge save. Alvise Sartori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Di Tommaso having to interfere. In the 77th play minute Filippo Maurizi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dave Sebastiani. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beppe Valeri in the 85th minute of play forced Arsenal di Venezia's goalkeeper Emanuele Di Tommaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Arsenal di Venezia's Filippo Maurizi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dave Sebastiani. That made the score 0-3 after 89 minutes of play. Beppe Valeri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 102nd minute. Emanuele Di Tommaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
