With a little luck, Boccea FC's Carmine Danza got control of the ball when Beppe Valeri tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute Alvise Sartori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Danza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alvise Sartori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvise Sartori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Carmine Danza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dennis Pasquino during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Campo FC got a freekick which was hit by Beppe Valeri. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvise Sartori to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Colella in the 59th minute of play forced Campo FC's goalkeeper Dave Sebastiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dave Sebastiani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Colella's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After 62 minutes, Dino Tondi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campo FC and the Boccea FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 played minutes Campo FC got a freekick which was hit by Dino Tondi. After 66 minutes of play Campo FC's Dino Tondi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Dino Tondi kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniele Faieta got free with Dave Sebastiani in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beppe Valeri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmine Danza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beppe Valeri in the 77th minute of the match. Alessio Petroni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Campo FC booed when Boccea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Pasquino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniele Faieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dave Sebastiani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniele Faieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beppe Valeri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carmine Danza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Boccea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe Valeri came free, but Carmine Danza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
