The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edmondo Dominici during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edmondo Dominici kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Amos Caiola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Daniele, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Amos Caiola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercole Riso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Ercole Riso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Caiola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armin Baggio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Vodafone Longobarda's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Daniele came free, but Amos Caiola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ercole Riso scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amos Caiola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Vodafone Longobarda's Ferdinando Bernardi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Biancone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Vodafone Longobarda's zone, Ercole Riso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amos Caiola came out of the goal and Ercole Riso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armin Baggio made a kick off. Christian Biancone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Baggio in the 55th minute of the match. Armin Baggio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Biancone having to interfere. Amos Caiola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercole Riso in the 63rd minute of play. Armin Baggio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Christian Biancone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Vodafone Longobarda booed when Olgiate Olona AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Daniele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armin Baggio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olgiate Olona AFC's Christian Biancone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Bernardi in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Olgiate Olona AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Capone to maneuver through the defense. Amos Caiola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercole Riso in the 84th minute of play. With a little luck, Vodafone Longobarda's Amos Caiola got control of the ball when Flavio Daniele tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Vodafone Longobarda's Ferdinando Bernardi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christian Biancone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Vodafone Longobarda's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
