An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Baggio in the 6th minute of play forced Civesio AFC's goalkeeper Aurelio Lozzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Ferdinando Bernardi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Lozzi. Civesio AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinando Bernardi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Vodafone Longobarda's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Marrone came free, but Amos Caiola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amos Caiola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Clemente in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vodafone Longobarda's zone, Francesco Marrone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amos Caiola came out of the goal and Francesco Marrone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francesco Marrone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Clemente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amos Caiola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfonso Clemente went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Vodafone Longobarda booed when Civesio AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felice Bulla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amos Caiola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Marrone in the 33rd minute of play. After 33 played minutes Vodafone Longobarda got a freekick which was hit by Florian Bertolini. In the 36th minute Civesio AFC were awarded a corner. Alberigo Marziali went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Alberigo Marziali almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vodafone Longobarda's Amos Caiola did a great save. Amos Caiola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Marrone in the 38th minute of the match. Daniele Ferreri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Amos Caiola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match, Daniele Ferreri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amos Caiola saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armin Baggio made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Alfonso Clemente put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Amos Caiola. In the 59th minute, Alfonso Clemente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ferdinando Bernardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Lozzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Baggio in the 63rd minute of the match. Ferdinando Bernardi struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Aurelio Lozzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vodafone Longobarda. Daniele Ferreri charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniele Ferreri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 played minutes Civesio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Ferreri. Alessio Tornese, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Amos Caiola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Marrone, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Alfonso Clemente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amos Caiola having to interfere. Amos Caiola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Marrone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Baggio in the 95th minute of play forced Civesio AFC's goalkeeper Aurelio Lozzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vodafone Longobarda players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Civesio AFC.
