Angelo Di Salvatore started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Commune's goalkeeper Amos Di Massimo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldo Alessandrini. Cosimo Mammarella kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Di Salvatore in the 9th minute of play forced Commune's goalkeeper Amos Di Massimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Ruata Chiusani FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Tripodi came free, but Enzo Andreola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ennio Tondi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Di Salvatore might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amos Di Massimo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelo Di Salvatore ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the game, Aldo Alessandrini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Amos Di Massimo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Commune booed when Ruata Chiusani FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo Napoleoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Beppe Checchia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ruata Chiusani FC's Enzo Andreola didn't even have to move. In the 29thth minute of the game Ennio Tondi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruata Chiusani FC's Enzo Andreola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eraldo Napoleoni kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Ernesto Tripodi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enzo Andreola. Ruata Chiusani FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernesto Tripodi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 34th match minute, Ruata Chiusani FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuele Fabri to maneuver through the defense. Enzo Andreola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio Tondi, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Ennio Tondi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Enzo Andreola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alessandro Cassone kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Amos Di Massimo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio Tondi in the 51st minute of play forced Ruata Chiusani FC's goalkeeper Enzo Andreola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Andreola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Tripodi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldo Alessandrini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Amos Di Massimo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Commune got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Cremonese. Aldo Alessandrini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Palma hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Di Salvatore in the 71st minute of play forced Commune's goalkeeper Amos Di Massimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Alessandro Cassone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Commune's Alessandro Cassone got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Alessandro Cassone off the ground. Alessandro Cassone kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match.
