Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Andrea Pugliese got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Villa in the 14th minute of play forced San Fortunato FC's goalkeeper Cesare Rozzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulvio Walcher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cesare Rozzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Lorefice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesare Rozzi having to interfere. Felice Boccanera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosimo Villa struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Cesare Rozzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perugia. Bernardo Lorefice's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesare Rozzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Andrea Baruffa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrea Pugliese, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesare Rozzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosimo Villa in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Dino Dominici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute of the match Perugia got a corner. San Fortunato FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Angelo Traini ran over to the corner to take the kick. Perugia's Andrea Baruffa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Pugliese in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cosimo Villa to strike the kick off in the second half. Cosimo Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Lorefice in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesare Rozzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute Andrea Pugliese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Baruffa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cesare Rozzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Villa in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrea Pugliese in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrea Baruffa saved Perugia from getting behind. Andrea Pugliese sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Zappacosta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrea Pugliese in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrea Baruffa saved Perugia from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Perugia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Fortunato FC:s goal. Cesare Rozzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felice Boccanera hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, San Fortunato FC's Dennis Polito tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The San Fortunato FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing San Fortunato FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
