When Cristiano Corleone came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Vigolo Baselga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Corleone couldn't finish the play. Eraldo Ceresoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Corleone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eraldo Ceresoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Corleone in the 16th minute of the match. Eraldo Ceresoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Grieco, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Cristiano Corleone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Campana got free with Antonio Masi in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vigolo Baselga's Antonio Masi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea De Matteis in the 31st minute of play. When Vigolo Baselga's Frank Grieco in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Voghiera's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Cristiano Corleone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vigolo Baselga's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Corleone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eraldo Ceresoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Felice in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eraldo Ceresoli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Vigolo Baselga's zone, Andrea De Matteis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Masi came out of the goal and Andrea De Matteis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Grieco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Frank Grieco struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Eraldo Ceresoli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vigolo Baselga. Vigolo Baselga's Cristiano Corleone got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Augusto Felice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Eraldo Ceresoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Grieco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Raimondi kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 55 minutes of play, Vigolo Baselga's Frank Grieco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eraldo Ceresoli was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th match minute, Vigolo Baselga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Bertoni to maneuver through the defense. Eraldo Ceresoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Grieco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Raimondi hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Antonio Masi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea De Matteis, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Voghiera:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vigolo Baselga:s goal. 0-2 came through a penalty shot after 69 played minutes, when Vigolo Baselga:s Carlo Profeta calmly waited for Voghiera:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Cristiano Corleone who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Eraldo Ceresoli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Frank Grieco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
