When Fabrizio Forlano came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Prospiano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrizio Forlano couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Attilio Travaglini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Berardo was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Attilio Travaglini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prospiano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Attilio Travaglini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Berardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Berardo came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Prospiano FC's Fabrizio Forlano. But to his dismay, Fabrizio Forlano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 18th minute of the match Fausto Pasinati shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Berardo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Attilio Travaglini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achille Amatori might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Contestabile. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Achille Amatori ran back to his position shaking his head. Franco Contestabile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Briano in the 31st minute of the match. After 33 minutes Prospiano FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felice Landolfi who took care of the corner kick. Felice Landolfi made a great header on Bagno FC's corner, it was just that Prospiano FC's Franco Contestabile managed to reach the ball for a save. Attilio Travaglini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Berardo having to interfere. Fabrizio Forlano scored 2-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Berardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bagno FC's Angelo Berardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Travaglini in the 40th minute of play.

In the 53rd minute of the match Felice Landolfi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franco Contestabile skillfully saved the ball. Angelo Berardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Travaglini, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Prospiano FC's Franco Contestabile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Prospiano FC from getting a goal against them.
