The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Raiola got free with Bianco Conforti in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beppe Silvagni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bianco Conforti having to make a save. With a little luck, Grezzana's Bianco Conforti got control of the ball when Ettore Raiola tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anfilogino Pocobello hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beppe Silvagni in the 28th minute of play forced Grezzana's goalkeeper Bianco Conforti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Arbizzano AFC booed when Grezzana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Coscia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bianco Conforti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beppe Silvagni in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Arbizzano AFC's Beppe Silvagni dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Ettore Raiola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beppe Silvagni was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Arbizzano AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 47 minutes into the match, Arbizzano AFC's Beppe Silvagni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bianco Conforti narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrea De Vito was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Beppe Silvagni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bianco Conforti. Grezzana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beppe Silvagni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Alexander Fantasia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea De Vito, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Raiola in the 65th minute of play forced Grezzana's goalkeeper Bianco Conforti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Ferraro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anfilogino Pocobello hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Anselmo Vittorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Arbizzano AFC's Alexander Fantasia got control of the ball when Alfredo Circelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 88 minutes, Donato Ferraro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arbizzano AFC and the Grezzana players grew even worse after the yellow card. Donato Ferraro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Ettore Raiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Grezzana's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe Silvagni came free, but Bianco Conforti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arbizzano AFC's Ettore Raiola got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Beppe Silvagni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arbizzano AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Arbizzano AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
