A collision led to Orbassano getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Achille Domenghini hit a great ball. A.S. Calicheros's Enzo Toccaceli got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Comunardo Bozzelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enzo Toccaceli's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. The referee ignored Orbassano's protests and gave Eraldo Scoca a yellow card for diving instead.
