Demetrio Taraborrelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute, Orbassano's Filippo Mingione ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cosimo Lorenzi. Cosimo Lorenzi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Achille Domenghini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orbassano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marano the free kick. In the 12th minute, Achille Domenghini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demetrio Taraborrelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Marano getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Comunardo Gizzi hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Orbassano's Achille Domenghini got a free kick in the 25th minute. Ferdinando Angelini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Comunardo Bozzelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eraldo Scoca during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Marano booed when Orbassano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo Scoca didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Demetrio Taraborrelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Orsi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 32nd playminute. Anselmo Orsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Comunardo Bozzelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demetrio Taraborrelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Orbassano getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eraldo Scoca hit a great ball. Comunardo Bozzelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinando Angelini in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinando Angelini made a kick off. Marano's Demetrio Taraborrelli got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinando Angelini in the 74th minute of play forced Orbassano's goalkeeper Comunardo Bozzelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Achille Domenghini got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 76 played minutes Orbassano got a freekick which was hit by Achille Domenghini. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Anselmo Orsi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orbassano's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Orsi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosimo Lorenzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marano's Ferdinando Angelini got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Orbassano fans cheered their team off the field, for while Marano had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
