Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Fausto Walcher made the kick off which started today's match. Saronno's Fausto Walcher got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Alkimy FC's Anfilogino Ciaccia got a free kick in the 4th minute. Anselmo Moretti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristoforo Marcelli's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Fabiano Grimaldi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Helfer in the 12th minute. Emiliano Helfer took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabiano Grimaldi. Fabiano Grimaldi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Fausto Walcher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Alkimy FC's goalkeeper Fabiano Grimaldi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ercole Capuozzi hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Cristoforo Marcelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Moretti having to interfere. When Ercole Capuozzi came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Saronno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ercole Capuozzi couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Alexander Pezzella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ercole Capuozzi was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 48 played minutes Saronno got a freekick which was hit by Ercole Capuozzi. Saronno's Anselmo Moretti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Marcon in the 49th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristoforo Marcelli was the one to do the kick off. If Alexander Marcon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Alkimy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Helfer came free, but Fabiano Grimaldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabiano Grimaldi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Helfer's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 66th play minute Cristoforo Marcelli came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anselmo Moretti. 1-1. Emiliano Helfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Fabiano Grimaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristoforo Marcelli in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Moretti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emiliano Helfer struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Fabiano Grimaldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saronno. Anselmo Moretti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Marcelli in the 90th minute of play. Fabiano Grimaldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Helfer, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Alexander Pezzella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saronno were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Alkimy FC for a fine match.
