The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Mazzini helped the player get up and apologised. Cristoforo Granati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC REYZER booed when Gambarara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Marsili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmine Lucchetti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristoforo Granati in the 12th minute. FC REYZER's Ercole Rotondi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bianco Del Vecchio in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to FC REYZER getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Arturo Silvagni hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC REYZER's Arturo Silvagni got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 23rd match minute, FC REYZER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Silvagni to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Petrosino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ercole Rotondi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bianco Del Vecchio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gambarara FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC REYZER the free kick. Cristoforo Granati recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bianco Del Vecchio made a kick off. Carmine Lucchetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Paolucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th play minute Anselmo Petrosino came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ercole Rotondi. 0-1. 61 minutes into the match, Gambarara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Paolucci came free, but Carmine Lucchetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Bianco Del Vecchio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gambarara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bianco Del Vecchio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Gambarara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Colangelo to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Edmondo Lampa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carmine Lucchetti skillfully saved the ball. If Bianco Del Vecchio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ercole Rotondi made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Anselmo Petrosino sent off a good shot on target. When Cristoforo Granati came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the FC REYZER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristoforo Granati couldn't finish the play. Carmine Lucchetti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Paolucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Bianco Del Vecchio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Rotondi having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gambarara FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
