Fausto Biscotti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damiano Tatangelo having to make a save. After having played for 7 minutes, Fausto Biscotti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorrivoli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Biscotti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Attilio Galeone fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mediglia's protests and gave Attilio Galeone a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mediglia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Sorrivoli a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Enrico Cacciatore, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mediglia's Damiano Tatangelo. 0-1. When Armando Cattaneo fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sorrivoli's protests and gave Armando Cattaneo a yellow card for diving instead. Armando Cattaneo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Arturo Corelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sorrivoli's Armando Cattaneo got a free kick in the 25th minute. Attilio Piccirilli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Davide Giannantonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Attilio Piccirilli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Giannantonio having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Sorrivoli's Fausto Biscotti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damiano Tatangelo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 44th minute, Enrico Cacciatore sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mediglia's Damiano Tatangelo didn't even have to move. After having played for 48 minutes, Fausto Biscotti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorrivoli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Biscotti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Mediglia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sorrivoli were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Ciro Corvasce made the kick off in the second half. Damiano Tatangelo came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sorrivoli's Fausto Biscotti. But to his dismay, Fausto Biscotti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Fedele Bolli hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Sorrivoli's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Corvasce came free, but Davide Giannantonio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Corvasce in the 70th minute of play forced Sorrivoli's goalkeeper Davide Giannantonio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Corelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arturo Corelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Biscotti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Biscottis short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Damiano Tatangelo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 85 minutes into the match, Ciro Corvasce notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Sorrivoli's Davide Giannantonio. Davide Giannantonio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arturo Corelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Tatangelo having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 98th minute of the game. One of Mediglia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sorrivoli:s goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sorrivoli walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
