Augusto Mastrangelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Larizza having to interfere. When Emilio Chioda came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Marina Romea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Chioda couldn't finish the play. Enrico Paris was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Ercole Antico capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ercole Antico really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 31st minute, Emiliano Cieri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emiliano Cieri to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Tor Tre Ponti defense, Emilio Chioda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrico Paris. The Tor Tre Ponti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrico Paris should have stopped the shot. Marina Romea's Alessandro Larizza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Marina Romea from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the match, Tor Tre Ponti's goal looked a bit too open when Ercole Antico came free, but Enrico Paris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Fortunato Sammartano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Marina Romea's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Cieri came free, but Alessandro Larizza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Mastrangelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Alessandro Larizza made a huge save. Ercole Antico struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Marina Romea's zone, Augusto Mastrangelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Larizza came out of the goal and Augusto Mastrangelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tor Tre Ponti's Enrico Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercole Antico in the 86th minute of play. A collision led to Marina Romea getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Alex Cesarini hit a great ball. Alessandro Larizza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Cieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Marina Romea had played much better football throughout.
