Bernardo Morini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Donato Zaino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Enzo Cino in the 19th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Enzo Cino's late challenge caught a Spakka Mattun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Cino helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Vigorovea FC's Enzo Cino got a free kick in the 21st minute. Alvaro Marcolongo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Varglien having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Macchia got free with Donato Zaino in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonio Sangermano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Odisio kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Spakka Mattun's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Marcolongo came free, but Antonio Varglien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eugenio Macchia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Zaino came out of the goal and Eugenio Macchia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Morini was the one to do the kick off. Antonio Varglien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Marcolongo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The supporters of Vigorovea FC booed when Spakka Mattun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Di Meo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spakka Mattun's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Francesco De Cesaris was slow to take the kick. During this time Vigorovea FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Antonio Sangermano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Spakka Mattun's Antonio Varglien did a great save. Enzo Cino got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 66th minute, Enzo Cino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Vigorovea FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ettore Ali hit a great ball. Eugenio Macchia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Zaino having to interfere. If Bernardo Morini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eugenio Macchia struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Donato Zaino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spakka Mattun. Antonio Varglien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Marcolongo in the 83rd minute of play. Antonio Varglien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Marcolongo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vigorovea FC's Antonio Sangermano got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vigorovea FC's Antonio Sangermano got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute of the match Florian Latini shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donato Zaino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 96 played minutes Vigorovea FC got a freekick which was hit by Comunardo Tedeschi.
