After a defensive mix-up in Real La Spezia's zone, Donato Fabiani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinando Melito came out of the goal and Donato Fabiani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antonello Silvestre took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinando Melito. Ferdinando Melito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 14 played minutes, CS Kolbe Ponte Mammolo's Fulvio Napoleoni shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ferdinando Melito came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CS Kolbe Ponte Mammolo reached it. Donato Fabiani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinando Melito having to interfere. Ercole Grandis might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 冯正钢. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ercole Grandis ran back to his position shaking his head. If Donato Fabiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Fabiani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinando Melito having to interfere. Ferdinando Melito made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Antonello Silvestre sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Real La Spezia booed when CS Kolbe Ponte Mammolo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonello Silvestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinando Melito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonello Silvestre in the 39th minute. Real La Spezia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Donato Fabiani 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Ferdinando Melito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Fabiani in the 44th minute of the match. Alfredo Cangiano charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Cangiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Real La Spezia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Cangiano to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute Donato Fabiani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinando Melito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Fabiani was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, CS Kolbe Ponte Mammolo's Antonello Silvestre made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinando Melito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ferdinando Melito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonello Silvestre's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Fulvio Napoleoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Franco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but 冯正钢 made a huge save. Real La Spezia's Ferdinando Melito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Fabiani in the 68th minute of play. Ferdinando Melito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Fabiani in the 70th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Real La Spezia's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Fabiani came free, but Ferdinando Melito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Comunardo Iezzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinando Melito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonello Silvestre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Real La Spezia's Bernardo Costantino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 冯正钢. That made the score 4-1 after 84 minutes of play. Bernardo Costantino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Real La Spezia's Alex Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CS Kolbe Ponte Mammolo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
