Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edoardo Longo got the match started through his kick off. Edoardo Longo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 4th minute, Alex Raimondi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edoardo Longo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Landolfi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dsval F.C.'s zone, Aurelio Caporale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ercole Landolfi came out of the goal and Aurelio Caporale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Edoardo Longo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Landolfi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Aurelio Caporale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Recco AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Caporale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dsval F.C.'s goalkeeper Ercole Landolfi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Aurelio Caporale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ercole Landolfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Mangione in the 40th minute of play. After some careless play in the Dsval F.C. defense, Edoardo Longo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ercole Landolfi. The Dsval F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ercole Landolfi should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Petito to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Edoardo Longo took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Ercole Landolfi to make any attempt to save it. Ercole Landolfi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Longo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Caporale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edoardo Longo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Edoardo Longo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Landolfi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ercole Landolfi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Longo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ercole Landolfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Longo in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Dsval F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Longo came free, but Ercole Landolfi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Dsval F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Raimondi to maneuver through the defense. Edoardo Longo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ercole Landolfi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Longo in the 96th minute of play forced Dsval F.C.'s goalkeeper Ercole Landolfi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Recco AFC played a much better game than Dsval F.C. and deserved their victory. The Dsval F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
