After 9 minutes, Alexander Rossetti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ercolano and the Vigo Meano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alexander Rossetti kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Ercolano's Alex Orsini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmondo Orecchioni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute Enzo Gava suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of Vigo Meano booed when Ercolano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Rossetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felice Braccia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eraldo Mastrangelo in the 19th minute of the match. If Eraldo Mastrangelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrea Ruzzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrea Ruzzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Braccia having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Ennio Bozzelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ercolano's supporters rose to their feet, but Ennio Bozzelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmondo Orecchioni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Andrea Ruzzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andrea Ruzzi made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Ruzzi in the 61st minute of play forced Ercolano's goalkeeper Felice Braccia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Vigo Meano getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Eraldo Mastrangelo hit a great ball. Ennio Bozzelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrea Ruzzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Felice Braccia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eraldo Mastrangelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Alvaro Polito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felice Braccia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. There was no doubt that Vigo Meano were the better team. Vigo Meano's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
