In the 12th minute, Angelo Onori left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canegrate AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Alfonso Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Onori in the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Angelo Onori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canegrate AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Onori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Florian Mannella was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Senegal f.c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canegrate AFC the free kick. A collision led to Senegal f.c getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Florian Mannella hit a great ball. When Bruno Vespucci came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Canegrate AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Vespucci couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Onori in the 26th minute of play. Dario De Marco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fortunato Sciotto, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Angelo Onori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Bruno Vespucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo Onori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Vespucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Franco Ciapponi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Senegal f.c booed when Canegrate AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Fortuna didn't get a good kick on the ball.

With 52 minutes on the clock, Amedeo Novella commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The audience was convinced that Angelo Onori's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Miranda was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 64th match minute, Canegrate AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Pinti to maneuver through the defense. If Franco Ciapponi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Bruno Vespucci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canegrate AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Vespucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Senegal f.c's Antonio Calabrese got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 85th minute, Franco Ciapponi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dario De Marco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Pantano in the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Canegrate AFC's zone, Fortunato Sciotto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario De Marco came out of the goal and Fortunato Sciotto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dario De Marco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Sciotto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Canegrate AFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Aldo Ferraro hit a great ball. Davide Vierchowod sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Bruno Vespucci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
