Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fortunato Sciotto started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Toninelli in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Miranda saved Senegal f.c from getting behind. When Ferdinando Burgnich fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Osasugna's protests and gave Ferdinando Burgnich a yellow card for diving instead. Ferdinando Burgnich hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Osasugna's Aurelio Toninelli in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Senegal f.c's goalie prevented a goal. Concetto Di Lello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fortunato Sciotto in the 12th minute of play. Concetto Di Lello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Sciotto in the 14th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Ferdinando Burgnich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Petruzzi in the 25th minute of play. When Ferdinando Burgnich came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Osasugna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinando Burgnich couldn't finish the play. Osasugna's Domenico Lizzi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlo Picciano in the 29 minute of the game. In the 30th minute of the match Alessio Tatangelo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfonso Miranda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 32 minutes, Aurelio Menna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Senegal f.c and the Osasugna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes Senegal f.c got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Menna. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Toninelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Miranda was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 38thth minute of the game Aurelio Toninelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Senegal f.c's Alfonso Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aldo Maietta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alfonso Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Aurelio Toninelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Osasugna's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Toninelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Alfonso Miranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domenico Petruzzi in the 58th minute. Alfonso Miranda was a little too slow when Aurelio Toninelli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 1-2. Alfonso Miranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Toninelli's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Osasugna's Alessio Tatangelo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 87th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alfonso Miranda but with some difficulty. Ferdinando Burgnich struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Alfonso Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Osasugna. When Domenico Petruzzi came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Osasugna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domenico Petruzzi couldn't finish the play. The Senegal f.c fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Osasugna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
