The BLM group fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Bolognesi should have stopped the shot. In the 45thth minute of the game Dennis Cala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BLM group's Bernardo Bolognesi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Corrado Petrosino was the one to do the kick off. Emilio Orioli's late challenge caught a BLM group's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Bolognesi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bruno Travaglini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Ippoliti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edoardo Ippoliti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Travaglini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Ippoliti in the 67th minute of the match. Dario Cicchetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Corrado Petrosino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Spadarolo FC's Corrado Petrosino got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 85 played minutes Spadarolo FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Fabri. 94 minutes into the game, one of Spadarolo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BLM group fans cheered their team off the field, for while Spadarolo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
