Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Spadarolo FC's Dennis Cala got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Loreto in the 11th minute of play forced Spadarolo FC's goalkeeper Bruno Travaglini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes, Corrado Petrosino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spadarolo FC and the Monreale AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24thth minute of the game Anfilogino Mazzei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spadarolo FC's Bruno Travaglini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ettore Loreto in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Travaglini saved Spadarolo FC from getting behind. In the 28th minute Anfilogino Mazzei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Travaglini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Spadarolo FC's Corrado Petrosino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Di Mattia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ettore Loreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bruno Travaglini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anfilogino Mazzei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anfilogino Mazzei to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 67th minute Corrado Petrosino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Di Mattia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Spadarolo FC booed when Monreale AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvise Moriggi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso Di Cesare was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With his leg Bruno Travaglini managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Monreale AFC's Ettore Loreto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dennis Cala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 81 played minutes Monreale AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alvise Moriggi. In the 82nd match minute, Monreale AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Miccio to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute of the match Monreale AFC got a corner. Spadarolo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Augusto Scalia ran over to the corner to take the kick. Augusto Scalia made a great header on Monreale AFC's corner, it was just that Spadarolo FC's Bruno Travaglini managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 96th minute Anfilogino Mazzei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Travaglini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ettore Loreto came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Monreale AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ettore Loreto couldn't finish the play. Spadarolo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Monreale AFC for a fine match.
