Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Angelo De Lucia got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Ettore Paolucci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Birandola FC's Ferruccio Ianni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ferruccio Ianni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Paolucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Birandola FC's Fabrizio Di Gregorio managed to work through Summonte AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Fabrizio Di Gregorio dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrizio Di Gregorio got free with Fedele Santagata in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ettore Paolucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 played minutes Birandola FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Uguccioni. In a very dangerous position, a player in Summonte AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Birandola FC a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cosimo Teodori, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Summonte AFC's Fedele Santagata. 1-0. Fedele Santagata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrizio Di Gregorio in the 35th minute. If Fortunato Porro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birandola FC's Ferruccio Ianni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Paolucci in the 45th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Ettore Paolucci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ferruccio Ianni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fortunato Porro was the one to do the kick off. When Ferdinando Mantini fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Birandola FC's protests and gave Ferdinando Mantini a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Birandola FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Mantini to maneuver through the defense. Fedele Santagata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo De Lucia in the 57th minute of the match. Fedele Santagata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Di Gregorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Ruggieri hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Summonte AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo De Lucia came free, but Fedele Santagata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo De Lucia in the 64th minute of play forced Summonte AFC's goalkeeper Fedele Santagata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabrizio Di Gregorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Santagata having to interfere. Ferruccio Ianni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fortunato Porro, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Ciro Ruggieri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ettore Paolucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. Fabrizio Di Gregorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Birandola FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Summonte AFC for a fine match.
