Diego Fantauzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amos Cavallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Rho FC's Amos Cavallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diego Fantauzzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Demetrio Santoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Diego Fantauzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Angelo Santovito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ettore De Amicis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diego Fantauzzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Cavallo in the 19th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Club87 got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Fava. Amos Cavallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Fantauzzi having to interfere. With a little luck, Club87's Diego Fantauzzi got control of the ball when Demetrio Santoro tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Santovito in the 26th minute of play forced Rho FC's goalkeeper Ermanno De Nardis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Caruso kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Rho FC's Ermanno De Nardis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Santovito in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Club87 booed when Rho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Lauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Rho FC's Francesco Lauro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ettore De Amicis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ermanno De Nardis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvaro Mastronardi hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Club87 were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Rho FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dario Caruso took the corner. Club87's Dario Caruso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ermanno De Nardis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amos Cavallo made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Vieri during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club87 booed when Rho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Vieri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amos Cavallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Diego Fantauzzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Rho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Mastronardi to maneuver through the defense. After 66 minutes of play, Club87's Ettore De Amicis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermanno De Nardis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Corrado Fava kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ettore De Amicis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Club87's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ermanno De Nardis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Ettore De Amicis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ermanno De Nardis. That made the score 0-3 in the 83 minute of play. When Armin Cipolla fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rho FC's protests and gave Armin Cipolla a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Armin Cipolla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Di Marco during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dario Di Marco hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Rho FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club87 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
