The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermanno Tiberio during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gladiatore Soccer Club's Ermanno Tiberio got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Donato Altobelli made a precise shot to the right of Corrado Crema. Gladiatore Soccer Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Donato Altobelli came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the sventrax fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Altobelli couldn't finish the play. Achille Uguccioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvise Pagliuca, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Gladiatore Soccer Club's Corrado Crema played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Scannella in the 31st minute of play. Donato Altobelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Gladiatore Soccer Club getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ettore Chiarelli hit a great ball. Corrado Crema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Altobelli in the 34th minute of play. Donato Altobelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alessio Nobili hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When Donato Altobelli came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the sventrax fans jumped to their feet. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvise Pagliuca to make the kick off. Ermanno Bulla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Uguccioni having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvise Pagliuca in the 64th minute of play forced sventrax's goalkeeper Achille Uguccioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Gladiatore Soccer Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Donato Altobelli fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 71st minute Ermanno Bulla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achille Uguccioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gladiatore Soccer Club's Alvise Pagliuca got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Gladiatore Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Scannella came free, but Corrado Crema reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermanno Bulla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Gladiatore Soccer Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching sventrax's performance. The match ended with a win for sventrax.
