In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Fred C.F.'s goalkeeper Fortunato Cavallaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cerro Maggiore AFC's Arturo Marzulli got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amedeo Felli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Real Fred C.F.'s Armin Punta got a free kick in the 10th minute. Fortunato Cavallaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Marzulli went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 18th minute, one of Cerro Maggiore AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cerro Maggiore AFC. Cerro Maggiore AFC:s Davide Monaco showed great skill when he stopped Concetto Domenghini:s penalty. After 21 minutes, Daniele Dionisi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Fred C.F. and the Cerro Maggiore AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniele Dionisi hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Davide Monaco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Aureli in the 26th minute of the match. Anthony Odisio scored 2-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fortunato Cavallaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvaro Rocchetti hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Arturo Marzulli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fortunato Cavallaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Amedeo Felli rounded Real Fred C.F.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Arturo Marzulli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Fortunato Cavallaro made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Flavio Aureli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davide Monaco having to interfere. Anthony Odisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edoardo Grassi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 67th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 72nd minute, Anthony Odisio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the game, one of Real Fred C.F.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Amedeo Felli came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Cerro Maggiore AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amedeo Felli couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Real Fred C.F. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Francesco Ceccon hit a great ball. Arturo Marzulli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fortunato Cavallaro having to make a save. Fortunato Cavallaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Felli, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Fortunato Cavallaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Felli in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Real Fred C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Marzulli came free, but Fortunato Cavallaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Marzulli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Fortunato Cavallaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cerro Maggiore AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
