Molara's Aldo Anzolin got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Achille Di Meo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aldo Anzolin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Molara's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Di Marzio came free, but Carlo Marcolongo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Aldo Anzolin made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 59 minutes, Amedeo Di Cola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caselline's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amedeo Di Cola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caselline's Emiliano Di Marzio got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amedeo Di Cola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 played minutes Amedeo Di Cola rounded Molara's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Molara's Carlo Marcolongo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Molara from getting a goal against them. When Emiliano Di Marzio came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Caselline fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Di Marzio couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Amedeo Di Cola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caselline's supporters rose to their feet, but Amedeo Di Cola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Marcolongo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Molara's Carlo Marcolongo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Di Cola in the 87th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Caselline eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
