Daniel Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Como in the 7th minute of play. When Fabrizio Benarrivo fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico MM's protests and gave Fabrizio Benarrivo a yellow card for diving instead. Fabrizio Benarrivo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Ercole Pettinelli kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Atletico MM's Daniel Aguiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico MM from getting a goal against them. Daniel Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Como in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Atletico MM getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Elia Collovati hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Enrico Furia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Atletico MM's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bruno Como 18 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Alex Iachini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Benarrivo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bernardo De Amicis fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico MM's protests and gave Bernardo De Amicis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, one of Atletico MM:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atletico MM. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Trebbo. Ercole Pettinelli stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Daniel Aguiar. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Enrico Furia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filippo De Angelis struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Daniel Aguiar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trebbo. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Trebbo had won after a very even match.
