The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, ASD Marola Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Marulli to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the game, Feliciano Cristofol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albarea FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ASD Marola Calcio the free kick. In the 4th minute, Feliciano Cristofol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Albarea FC booed when ASD Marola Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biagio Vitucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th match minute, ASD Marola Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bianco Mastronardi to maneuver through the defense. Roy Norström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ennio Valcareggi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Dennis Marinacci kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ennio Valcareggi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Norström in the 16th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Albarea FC's Feliciano Cristofol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ennio Valcareggi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliciano Cristofol in the 28th minute. Feliciano Cristofol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennio Valcareggi having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliciano Cristofol to strike the kick off in the second half. When Roy Norström got free in front of the goal in the 55th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ennio Valcareggi was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ennio Valcareggi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave De Carolis in the 58th minute of play. Felice Speranza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Alvaro Macchione made a huge save. Ennio Valcareggi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Cristofol, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Roy Norström scored 2-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ennio Valcareggi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Feliciano Cristofol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albarea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Cristofol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ennio Valcareggi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliciano Cristofol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dino Marulli hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. ASD Marola Calcio's Ennio Valcareggi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Norström in the 83rd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Albarea FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
