Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aldo Malatesta started the match with the kick off. After 10 minutes of play, Cadoneghe's Franco Sforza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edoardo Tabacchi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ciro Zisser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd match minute, Cadoneghe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Guerrieri to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Serantoni hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Franco Sforza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edoardo Tabacchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Filippini hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When Cadoneghe's Arrigo Finocchi in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Carlo's goalie prevented a goal. San Carlo were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Cadoneghe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emilio Filippini took the corner. If Ciro Zisser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 43 minutes, Ciro Zisser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Carlo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Zisser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franco Sforza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Ciro Zisser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Attilio Di Camillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniele Guerrieri hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Cadoneghe's Attilio Di Camillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Malatesta in the 57th minute of play. Ciro Zisser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Cadoneghe's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Malatesta came free, but Attilio Di Camillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Cadoneghe's Arrigo Finocchi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edoardo Tabacchi. Edoardo Tabacchi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 74 minutes into the match, Cadoneghe's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Malatesta came free, but Attilio Di Camillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Franco Sforza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franco Sforza struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Edoardo Tabacchi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadoneghe. Edoardo Tabacchi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arrigo Finocchi's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. When Concetto Brillante fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Carlo's protests and gave Concetto Brillante a yellow card for diving instead. Concetto Brillante hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Franco Sforza kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 89thth minute. Though ot was a great shot San Carlo's keeper Edoardo Tabacchi was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 91 minutes San Carlo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antonello Aureli who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of San Carlo's goalie and right to Alvaro Di Persio. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. San Carlo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Edoardo Tabacchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arrigo Finocchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cadoneghe's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
