With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corrado Franzioni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Armando De Gregorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corrado Franzioni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Jaraczeski, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Donato Di Mascio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Armando De Gregorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Barcelona F.C.'s Armando De Gregorio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Corrado Franzioni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armando De Gregorio ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucjan Jaraczeski made a kick off. A collision led to Gerre Borghi getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Donato Di Mascio hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the game, Armando De Gregorio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcelona F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gerre Borghi the free kick. Armando De Gregorio kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Armando De Gregorio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Corrado Franzioni came out and tried to block the shot, but Armando De Gregorio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 57th minute. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Lucjan Jaraczeski sped through Gerre Borghi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Corrado Franzioni. Corrado Franzioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Jaraczeski in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Barcelona F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Cericola came free, but Claudio Fabri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Corrado Franzioni managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Barcelona F.C.'s Lucjan Jaraczeski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Corrado Franzioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando De Gregorio in the 85th minute of play. Bernardo Borromeo charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Borromeo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Gerre Borghi got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Borromeo. Corrado Franzioni was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dario Ferreri. 95 minutes into the match, Gerre Borghi's goal looked a bit too open when Armando De Gregorio came free, but Corrado Franzioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barcelona F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
